The wireless signal is now stronger than ever. The two key components of hAP ax's success are: the latest technology with dual-band, dual-stream 4-4.5 dBi radio and Wave2 supported 802.11ax standard. Compared to the previous generation, this means up to 40% higher speed on 5 GHz and up to 90% higher speed on the 2.4 GHz spectrum, depending on your setup!

The wireless interface supports 802.11ax and is backward compatible with older wireless standards. Older client devices that only support 802.11ac will continue to benefit from features like MU-MIMO and open throughput, in addition to the 802.11ac Wave 2 features.

With a modern quad-core CPU running at 864 MHz and robust GB RAM, there's a significant difference when it comes to heavy tasks such as complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, running more processes, or trying out the most advanced RouterOS features. Additionally, the addition of advanced WPA3 encryption makes it even more secure than before.

Like previous models, hAP ax² can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or even on a wall without sacrificing strong signal strength.
